Kate’s passion for design began in childhood and has grown into a lifelong obsession. Drawing inspiration from nature, travel, and the beauty of everyday life, she believes that truly great design celebrates the people who live within the space — creating homes that feel both authentic and deeply personal. With more than a decade of experience in interior design and styling, Kate feels privileged to turn her passion into her profession every day. She prides herself on a warm, collaborative approach, guiding clients through the design process with care, creativity, and attention to detail. From the initial concept to the final finishing touches, Kate’s focus is always on nurturing her clients’ vision and transforming it into a cohesive, functional, and beautifully balanced space.

Jill Barker, who runs her own successful design business — Colour Counsel — now collaborates with Kate as they continue to grow a dynamic and evolving design studio that responds to their clients’ diverse needs.

Sharing Kate’s passion for design, Jill brings over 20 years of experience to the partnership. Originally from England, Jill studied and later taught design in Sydney, allowing her to channel her creative energy into a fulfilling career. With a wealth of experience across residential and commercial projects, Jill approaches every brief with enthusiasm and insight.
